European Youth Parliament

Final day to sign up

3 places remaining

Anyone interested in taking part in this very well run event can sign up below (deadline Today 5pm).

This event will bring together 130 4th, 5th and 6th year students from around Dublin alongside a team of international volunteers. The session will run from the 25th to 27th of March 2022. The event will take place in a Dublin school on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th with the General Assembly taking place in UCD on Sunday 27th.

This is a great opportunity for students to develop skills in teamwork, communication, public speaking and current affairs, and the event will be a great contribution to CVs. It will be a great chance to make new, like minded friends in a positive learning environment which is, of course, extremely important, especially after last year! This will also be a great opportunity for any students thinking about applying to UCD in the future to explore the campus and facilities.

No previous experience in debating is necessary as we will be holding a debating and skills workshop beforehand where students will learn the basic skills to learn to debate.

WHAT DOES HE NEED?

STMC TY at IMMA
11 Mar 2022 – 02 May 2022

I'm very glad to let you know that your observations and words from our Christmas workshops have gone on show at the Irish Museum of Modern Art.

What Does He Need?' is a long-term project by artist, writer and educator Fiona Whelan, theatre company Brokentalkers and Rialto Youth Project.

This project is a critical inquiry into the formation of masculinity, exploring how men and boys are shaped by and influence the world.

I'll be organising a visit to the Museum shortly but I'd recommend anyone interested taking the time to visit for themselves. It's not everyday your words go on show in a national museum!
