Reminder re Absences: It would be very much appreciated if parents / guardians please upload any absence either long term or short term, on the VS Ware on the first day of the absence. Please outline the reason for the absence — eg approved foreign exchange / work experience etc. This will help us greatly. Attendance is being monitored in relation to the upcoming trips still where all places offered are provisional. If a student is late twice in the week and there is no reason sent via email or VS Ware a Saturday Detention will be issued.
Subject Choice : Please note that the list of subjects available for 5th year will be outlined soon. Students will be meeting Mr O’Connor or Mr Hogan to discuss the results of the Aptitude Tests and the upcoming Subject choice. There will also be an opportunity for all TY students to talk to the current 6th year students about the subjects and how they find them to assist in the choices.
Many thanks to you all for your support re the Uniform as it has worked out very well and almost all students are adhering to the policy.
