Thursday Triple
Blackrock Beach Clean with Mount Anville
Mount Anville have invited us to help out at their Blackrock Beach Clean this thursday.
We will be departing the school at 1:40 and travelling by DART to Blackrock (returning to school at 3:40pm)
This is a non uniform activity but please ensure you bring a rain coat and DART fare for a return journey. Those of you who wish to travel home directly from the beach clean can do so but just make sure to say that to your class teacher that afternoon.

Tanzania Fundraising Events
Thank you very much to all family and friends who came out in support of the Parents Association Movie Night last Tuesday. It was an incredible success with a wonderful atmosphere, fantastic film and a lot of money raised for TY Tanzania Immersion Fund. St. Michael’s College would like to sincerely thank the Parents Association and the Movie Night Committee for all their time in preparing for the night.
Particularly, we would like to thank Ruth Lynch, Maureen Murphy, Naomi Maguire, Lorraine Cooke, Joanne Pretsell, Simon Bracken & Siona Mac Cinna. We would also like to thank Andrew Lowe and all the staff at the Light House Cinema for the use of their amazing facilities. Thank you so much to all our sponsors for their generosity. We hope to have a final figure on how much was raised next week.
Subject Choices Afternoon
Thanks to Mr Hogan for arranging the TY & 5th Year subject choice event. The 5th Year students did a great job outlining the curriculum, helping the TY students consider their subject choices. Teachers were on hand to give advice too!

Farm Visit
A very special thanks to Ms Fleming for organising.
Driving Lessons
Well done Peadar who competed as part of the St.Michael’s Sailing team over the weekend. They managed to fight their way out of an extremely competitive group stage (which now means that they have qualified for the all Ireland Championship). With 18 teams entered, a few unlucky races and St.Michael’s battling in the “group of death” it was no easy feat, but the boys managed to secure qualification with a fantastic performance. Well done!
