STMC TY Camino Trip
(Last Week to Sign Up)
25th - 30th May
The Camino, or “The Way”, is a network of medieval paths across Spain and Europe that all lead to one final destination – the city of Santiago De Compostela. Situated in the Celtic region of Galicia in north-western Spain, Santiago has attracted countless walkers and pilgrims for over a thousand years.
The most popular section is between Sarria and Santiago, a walk that typically takes 5 days (and counts for your Camino certificate as it’s a little more than the 100km minimum for this purpose). About 60-70% of all pilgrims begin at some point along the Camino Francés.
Parents/carers if you would like your son to be considered for this please fill in this form.

What does he need?
December 6th, 2 - 4pm
Irish Museum of Modern Art Workshop
I'm looking to bring a group of 6 people to participate in a workshop as part of the What Does He Need? residency at IMMA.
The workshop is based on two pieces of work from the What Does He Need? project A 30-minute audio and a public poster project, which were launched earlier this year (see links below). The workshop brings a small group together to first listen to the audio, and through conversation, develop their own answers to the question ‘What Does He Need?’. The aim is to develop a new series of public posters from the material generated during this series of workshops, to be presented on the grounds of IMMA early next year, alongside the audio.
You can listen here to an excerpt from What Does He Need audio: https://www.whatdoesheneed.com/audio/ and see images of the Public Poster Project here: https://www.whatdoesheneed.com/public-poster-project/
The themes of the audio/poster project include...
Empathy, power, the suppression of vulnerability, violence, mental health, pornography, and suicide.
The audio piece is intended to explore societal expectations placed on boys and men, and how learned behaviours are perpetuated, particularly by the influence of other men.
Sign up HERE to be considered for a place.
