TY Newsletter 22-26th March

One week of online emergency schooling left before our Easter Holiday and I'm sure many of you are relieved to be finishing up with it!

Well done everyone on your consistent work throughout these (literally!) extraordinary times. All in all - you've been exceptional.

Please be sure to be talking to your Reps about possible ideas for TY Activities that we can run in & around the school for the weeks after Easter as our options to visit & take part in out-of-school activities are extremely limited.

Both Mr Joyce & I will do our very best to make our last term an engaging & rewarding one.

You'll find the following in this week's TY Newsletter:

  • European Youth Parliament Ireland

  • Young Professional Conference Ireland

  • Grow your own veg!

This event is a great opportunity for students to develop skills in teamwork, communication, public speaking and current affairs, and the event will be a great contribution to CVs. It will be a great chance to make new friends in a positive learning environment which is, of course, extremely important, especially this year!

Registration will close on the 23rd of March or when we reach our maximum capacity, so please register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Each school can send a maximum delegation of 8 students.
