Boot Camp Accountancy Online Course

Chartered Accountants Ireland

Please see message from Chartered Accountants Ireland:

Boot Camp is a completely self-paced online course: it can be completed over as short or as long a time as you like but we are finding the optimum time is 8-10 weeks during subject sampling. The programme has grown from strength to strength with over 8,000 students and used as a work experience tool for many of the top tier firms.

There is a completion certificate available for Boot Camp to add to their Gaisce award.

Boot Camp has two distinct elements: A Foundation course in accounting and finance and a real-life business simulation; Be The Boss challenge which is open for Boot Camp students, with a new challenge running from September to March each year and the prize for the best overall entry is a voucher for €1,000! We are in the process of finalising the 2024/25 challenge and will launch it early next month with a closing date of 24 March 2025, this is open to all Boot Camp students whereby students assume the role of CEO and for this there is no such thing as a right or wrong answer, as long as students can back up the decision that they have made for their company!

The programme fee is €10.

This covers the students for the entire senior cycle so those who go on to study Leaving Certificate Accounting will be able to use it for revision purposes. It also allows students to work through on their own device at their own pace either in or away from the classroom.
