Blue Run Sign Ups

The Blue Run next Sunday May 1st and it is open to all TYs and your family members to take part in .

We already have over 300 online entries signed up and we have lots of good stuff arranged for the day - Live music, free BBQ, free t-shirt for every finisher, etc, so we'd love to have as many others involved, to make it a big fun day for everyone.

It won't be possible for people to just turn up on the day (we need participants to pre-register so that we have a number, t-shirt and food for them).

You can sign up (€10 cost) for yourself and any family/friends at break or lunchtime any day next week in the concourse, or people can sign up at the following link: https://www.stmc.ie/activities/blue-run.html

TY Thursday: TBC

We'll be running our activity with Alexandra College this Thursday. Details TBC

What Does He Need?

Visit to IMMA, April 28th, 5pm

Anyone interested in attending an exhibition and reception in IMMA can let me know this Monday.

The reception event at IMMA marks the occasion of the What Does He Need? exhibition which includes a collection of short texts representing a range of viewpoints on the needs of men and boys, and an accompanying audio telling the story of a fictional boy from the day of his birth to early adulthood.

In a time when a spotlight is being shone on many patriarchal structures and male behaviours and attitudes, What Does He Need? is an urgent critical inquiry exploring how men and boys are shaped by and influence the world they live in.

What Does He Need? is a long-term project by artist Fiona Whelan, theatre company Brokentalkers and Rialto Youth Project, developed in association with a Dublin city network of organisations in the areas of arts and culture, youth work, community development and education.
