TY Newsletter 30th May - 3rd June Activities Week 5

You will find the following in this week's TY Newsletter:

  • Activities Week 5 Itineraries

  • This week's highlights

  • TY Clothing

  • Barista Certificates

  • Job Opportunity from Together Academy for Baristas

An important note:

On Wednesday, an unacceptable number of boys did now show for the activity citing inconvenience as the main reason. There were also many boys who were excused but at extremely short notice.

It takes much time and energy to organise activities for larger groups in TY - including next week's Activities Week. Plans are made around the number of students who have signed up to an activity - and budgets are allocated, also based on these numbers. When students decide, with little to no notice that they are not going to take part in activities that they have signed up for, they show a complete disregard and lack of respect for those who have put time and energy into making these plans for them. Budget which could have been otherwise spent for the benefit of the whole of TY, is also not recoverable at such short notice.

I expect everyone to attend their scheduled activities this week.
