Workshop: Career Planning with Sean Bohan
Sean Bohan spoke about the mindset and factors involved in making important decisions. He highlighted Passion, Purpose, and People as key guides to help direct our choices, particularly those that shape our future ...that doesn't always travel the straight and narrow plan we'd like! A fun morning.
Model UN
Model UN sessions are taking place every Thursday from 3:40pm to 4:40pm in the Library. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in Debating, Global Politics, Geography, or Climate issues. Anyone keen to participate is encouraged to sign up.
STMC Drama TY Auditions
Auditions for the upcoming STMC school play with Mount Anville, The Crucible by Arthur Miller, are now open - if you missed them today please talk to Ms Gallagher. TYs are invited to apply for a variety of roles.
The play will be staged on the 10th and 11th of April in St. Michael’s College.
Don’t miss your chance to get involved!
4.3 Dublin Tour
Meeting at the Trophy Cabinet at 8:45am
Mr Cleary's current tourism class will be taking a tour of Dublin this Tuesday, 4th February.
Please be sure to bring DART fare and appropriate outdoor clothing.
Barista Groups
The remaining Barista workshops will take place from the 18th to the 21st of March. Parents of TY students who signed up for the course will receive a payment link shortly. Please ensure payment is made by the deadline to confirm your place. If you choose not to participate, kindly inform the TYC Office in person.
Drumming Workshops
Drumming practice is scheduled for the 6th of February. Mr. Sheridan will confirm the exact times and location. Stay tuned for further details.
Digital Mentors
Digital Mentors will meet as usual in the School Library this Tuesday, 4pm.
TY Activities Weeks and Work Placement Reminder
Activities Week 4 will run from the 10th to the 14th of February.
The Work Placement Fortnight will take place from the 24th of February to the 7th of March.
Students in 4.2 and 4.4 are reminded to fill in the form with their Work Placement details for Activities Week 4 and All TY students must update the form with their Work Placement details for the Work Placement Fortnight:
