A reminder forms regarding subjects (Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Applied Maths, Japenese) taking place outside the 5th Year timetable (ie outside school hours) is due Monday 9th of May 2022.

Prize Day Winners

Well done Arthur Ryan on receiving the Rory Shiels Perpetual Trophy...well deserved!


This perpetual trophy is given to the student:

who has best represented the spirit of TY ;

who has taken part in numerous activities;

who was willing to try new adventures,

who grappled with all of the opportunities available to them during the year.

Essentially, this award is being given to the student who got the absolute most out of Transition Year.

A massive congratulations to all the recipients of honours during prize day this year.

Summer Job with Another Fine Mess


Avril Murphy, who runs the Cookery Course in STMC is looking for a kitchen porter this Summer for work in Enniskerry. If you're interested and available, get in touch.


Barista Course


Any TY who signed up for the Barista course will be sent an email from the Dublin Barista School. Please ensure you complete the steps in full to secure your place.


Camino Information Evening


We are hosting an information evening with Eoin Garvey, Camino Groups on Thursday 12th May 6:30 - 7:30pm for all those travelling on the Portugese & Spanish Camino trips (this will also be streamed live online too).


Fit in Deutsch


The best of luck to TYs studying German who will be sitting Fit in Deutsch exams at the Goethe Institute this Friday.
