TY Rugby Sign Up

A form has been sent to all TYs via Google Classroom looking for expressions of interest for those interested in playing on a "TY Team". Please be sure to fill it in if interested. Sign-ups HERE: https://forms.gle/cJPDfX4xdCiixd7r5

It's important to note that the team will be made of TYs. However, if a player is required for a different team on the Senior Panel players from TY will be expected to fill in for as long as needed.

This is a provisional arrangement thanks to Mr Skeehan.

STMC Drama: Clue

Cast and Crew have been working for weeks on this STMC production.

Tickets are now on sale.

If any TY would like to be on the crew just let me know.

RTE Climate Youth Assembly

15th November

We're really proud at St Michael's of Salim Kajani and James Dunne who will be delegates representing Dublin in the upcoming Climate Youth Assembly.

Salim will be speaking to the Dail with his proposal relating to climate action and education.

We will be there in spirit, supporting the pair by live-streaming the assembly throughout the day.

Hallway Kurling

We've started the lunchtime series of hallway activities (whilst we prepare for crazy golf!) with Hallway Kurling!

Toastmasters & Effective Communication Sign Up

A big thank you to Simon Scriver who presented a lif skills workshop in public speaking. A massive help in helping the boys appreciate the value of body language and "flow" to presenting.

Simon is available for a course in the near future. If you're interested in taking it you can sign up HERE and read details below.

This is a 13-week course that takes place on Wednesdays, 3 pm and is limited to 12 students. The course covers presentation skills, public speaking, voice work, projection skills and creative drama. At the end of the course, students will complete an effective communication exam with the Leinster School of Music and Drama. There is a fee for this course of €200

Microsoft Dreamspace

Thanks to Microsoft for their incredible hospitality last Tuesday. As always, well done to the lads on representing themselves and St Michael's so well.

Boston Applications Closed

Thanks to all those that filled in applications for the Boston Exchange.

I am currently waiting on details of numbers from St Sebs. As soon as I have these I will let everyone know the next steps.
