Hospice Coffee Morning


The annual Hospice Coffee Morning is taking place this Tuesday, 22nd Oct, 8:30am- 1:30pm.


Another reminder that all TYs are expected to bring in cakes for the day and, if possible, raffle prizes.


All TYs will be helping out throughout the day at specific times:


TY Representatives are to meet in the Assembly Hall at 8:30am


Class groups will be assigned roles this Monday for their work on Tuesday.


Times that groups are working are as follows:


4.1 - Period 1

4.2 - Period 2

4.3 - Period 3

4.4 - Period 4

4.5 - Period 5

Boston Exchange 2020


I'm happy to announce that we will be running the St Michael's/ St Sebastian's Boston Exchange again. This has always been a massive success.


Dates are a follows:


Boston Students arrive and stay in Dublin

Sat 14 March - Sun 22 March


Dublin Students arrive and stay in Boston

Sat 4th April to Sun 12th April


The exchange costs €850 approx. This will cover the cost of flights (through a bonded travel agent) and the expenses of a chaperone staff member who will travel with the boys.


Forms can be collected this Monday from the TY Office

TY Tuesday: Cancer Awareness Talk

1:35 - 3:35pm

Lwr Study


An oncology nurse from the Marie Keating Foundation will be talking to TY about the following:


  • What we can do individually to reduce our risk of getting the most common cancers.

  • Testicular cancer (Most common cancer in men and young boys between the ages of 15 – 34) and how to check for any changes.

  • Skin cancer. (Most common cancer in Ireland and on the increase)
