Brazil 2020

A note from Mr Doolan:

"Thank you very much to all those who applied for Brazil 2020.

There was a large volume of interest expressed and the quality of the applications submitted was extremely high throughout. Owing to this (and in keeping with previous years) we have decided to go to random selection to decide the first round of offers. A shortlist will also be drawn should a student decide not to accept his place.

The random selection will take place Monday morning by the Chaplaincy Team. The results will be made known to the students on Monday afternoon.

Many thanks for your continued support."

Some highlights from the last fortnight

Apologies for any inconvenience caused last week, because of a technical issue I was unable to post the TY Newsletter.

Congratulations to everyone involved in last night’s production of ‘Clue’. A packed house, terrific performances and rave reviews all-round.

Here are some of the highlights. A special mention to Salim Kajani and James Dunne who represented themselves exceptionally at Ireland's first-ever Youth Dail Assembly.

Also, to Daniel Rafferty who finished 11th in the Run in the Dark 5km

Thanks to the girls of Sion Hill and Touch Rugby Ireland who visited St Michael's to take part in a short blitz.

And finally to Daragh O'Neill for organising for a group of TYs to visit Bewleys on the Malahide Rd over the last number of weeks to receive Barista training.
