12 Days of Christmas!
After our SOAR workshop Mr Joyce and I proposed a small challenge to all of TY - one that was accepted by TY!
Can we do one thing a day that will bring us that bit closer as a year group, as a neighbourhood as well as something to help us connect to our families.
So each day, for 12 days, TYs have been taking part in a range of activities leading in to Christmas. Weekends are PERSONAL DAYS - so if you might have an idea of how you could do something with your son...a walk you used to take, preparing the family dinner together, visiting an elderly relative or neighbour etc
We'll be raising some sponsorship funds as part of Day 10 -Sandymount Beach Clean, for the Morning Star Homeless Shelter.

TY Rugby Team Meeting this Monday
There will be a meeting this Monday, 1pm, in room 29 with Mr Skeehan for all of those who are interested in playing on a TY team.

MUN Mount Anville
10 TYs are currently engaged in MUN this weekend. Last week, the Saudi Arabia Delegation visited the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Commission to explore the issues on this weekend's agenda.
UNICEF Workshops
Prepping for a workshop from UNICEF on homelessness as part of a series of one day workshops to help raise awareness of homelessness in our community during our 12 Days of Christmas Challenge.
TY Christmas Tree: WANTED Decorations!
If you have any spare bobbles or trinkets that you could spare; they would be greatly appreciated. We are trying to make it a group effort to decorate the TY Christmas tree in the TY pop lounge area.
