Huge thank you to Mr Conor Ward from Accenture who spoke to 4th Year today on different career opportunities and his work with philanthropist Chuck Feeney - very interesting talk that the boys enjoyed thoroughly.

TY Breakfast Career Talks with Oisin Hurley

Tuesday 24th October, 8:00 - 8:35am, Room 29

The first of our fortnightly series of TY Breakfast Career Talks.

Oisin will be talking with the TYs about a career focused in Technology.

Future talks will cover topics such as engineering, medicine, architecture, finance, law, sales and much more...

There'll be tea and cake too!

Thanks again to Parents Reps Cathy and Eddie for all their coordination of this programme.

 

TY Tuesday (Rescheduled)

The Bunsen Cup:

Tuesday, 24th Oct, 1:35 - 3:35pm

Continuing from the "intense" Fijian Tip Competition the TY Reps have organised an American Football League and Dodgeball tournament.

TY will be divided in two leagues:

League A will play American Football on the front pitch

League B will play Dodgeball on the top astro

"Forgotten gear" will result in teams being docked points in the TY Cup!

 

TY Retreats

Thursday, 26th Oct

8:45am - 3:00pm

All TYs will take part in one whole day retreat over the next two weeks.

This Thursday, 26th Oct TYs 4.3 (Andrews French - Lynch), 4.4 & 4.5

We will be travelling to the retreat by coach.

 

Model UN Delegation Selection

Thanks to all the TYs who applied to take part in the Model UN Delegation to Brussels. Unfortunately we could not accommodate all applicants. A draw took place this week to decide on the applicants who applied.

All of the following activities will commence following the October break:

121 Digital: Thursdays, 3:45 -4:45pm

Homeless Contact Work: Mondays, 6:30 - 7:30pm
