Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and a restful holiday.
Well done to all the TYs and to you, the parents, for your generous openness to get involved in the TY programme this year.
Lots planned for the new term ahead and I will be sending information out in before we come back.

FUNDRAISING WEEK
A huge congratulations to the guys that made this week a very special one. We are currently at just under €2000 raised. A huge sum! But I will be following up with the rest of the boys who had not gotten their sponsorship in with them this week. Congratulations to Ben Murphy for his incredible fundraising over the last week - Ben walked away with a signed Munster Jersey for his efforts. All those that hand in their sponsorship money will be entered into a draw for a €500 voucher for an Irish College - this is transferable to anyone who would like to use it.
The OCO & STMC with A Playful City
Well done to Jon Barry and Ciaran Carthy regarding their appearance on RTE's news2day last Wednesday to read from Stephen Smith's poem "From...To..." as part of a joint public art project by A Playful City and the Ombudsman for Children's Office. You'll find a link to the news piece HERE
WORK PLACEMENTS
Finally, this a quick reminder that there will be Work Placements (Jan 22 - 26) for Activities Week Groups 2 & 6 (find the Groups HERE). THERE IS ALSO A TWO WEEK PLACEMENT SCHEDULED FOR ALL TYs in FEBRUARY (Feb 19 - Mar 2).
